Frisian Sailing Company operates a colourful fleet of one and two-masted tjalks and fast sailing barges. A handsome collection of authentic vessels, some of them built over a century ago at various famous shipyards. Most of them have a long and adventurous history behind them as a cargo or fishing vessel.Our ships have recently been renovated or converted for taking groups on comfortable sailing trips ranging from simple to highly luxurious. Frisian Sailing Company has the right ship for everybody.

Our ships sail from Lemmer, Stavoren, Harlingen and Kiel (Baltic Sea), towns with a long tradition which is still preserved today. In the old days, these towns were the home ports of fishing fleets and merchant fleets.Today our traditional ships are based in these characteristic northern European ports, where you will also enjoy seeing the sights.
