In the year 1907 the two masted Klipper the Succes was launched as a sail cargo ship. She was built by Wed. A. van Duyvendijk, a famous shipyard in The Netherlands. In the year 1998 the Succes was given the four star qualification by CLAWA because of the complete restoration and the up to date modern specification/inventory. She offers you a lot of comfort, privacy and safety on board. The after-deck is equipped with a generous cockpit, which offers the less sporting guest a protected and safe seat. From the cockpit and going into the deck house there you can enjoy the splendid views of the sea through the big windows or a game of chess or bridge. Here you find a well stocked bar with cooled beer dispensed through a traditional Dutch brass tap. Five steps down from the deckhouse is the generous saloon, called the ”kajuit”. In order to be able to enjoy a festive dinner the saloon is equipped with four big tables and seats 24. The Succes is a ship for business people who want to offer something special to their clients, or to celebrate an anniversary or other special event.
