The comfortable topsail schooner the Banjaard has proved her seaworthiness time and time again since she was launched in 1913. In spring and autumn the Banjaard sails on the IJsselmeer and the North Sea. Her square sails add an extra dimension to the traditional sails. Her high railing, large stability and electrical winch facilitates during a stiff breeze the adventure for young and old.
The pilothouse is the Banjaard’s nautical centre. The enthusiastic captain team of Aard-Michiel Bot will assist you with the navigation system, in plotting a course and in planning a route. The stylish, spacious saloon is a comfortable accommodation both during long voyages and day trips (40 persons).
