The Albatros is a beautiful and authentic ship for 14 to 16 persons. This well maintained tjalk sails from Monnickendam. The Albatros has been sailed for 15 years under the name: the Nieuwe Zorg for the Friesian Sailing Company and is now being rebuilt inside completely and renewed by Zeger and Emilie van der Zel. 14 People can stay comfortably in the ship. The ship is suitable for a trip with one or two families, a group of friends or a corporate outing because of its very flexible format. Two double cabins can be changed in an instant into a cabin for 6 persons.
The Albatros has a golden Green Key award, all renovation done on the ship is eco friendly and sustainable. The skipper would like you to enjoy the peace and expanse of the water with the wind in the sails.
